The Janesville Transit System will take public comment for the next two weeks regarding the proposal to end bus service to Whitewater on January first. JTS Director Rebecca Smith says service to Milton is still being considered. Service to Whitewater is likely to end because JTS has learned the route's last major sponsor, Generac Power System, is withdrawing support. Smith says the comments will be forwarded to the city council for consideration. Those interested can comment on the city's website, or call or write JTS.
