The Beloit NAACAP Chapter throws it's support behind Police Chief Norm Jacobs and Deputy Chief Tom Dunkin.
Beloit NAACP Chapter Vice President Dennis Baskin told the City Council Monday night that the community deserves to know why the City's top cops were place on paid leave in June.
City Manager Lori Curtis Luther has indicated that the preliminary findings of an outside firm's assessment of the police department were troubling enough that they warranted the leave. A second investigation into the conduct of the chief and deputy chief continues.
