The Rock County Sheriff's Office joins law enforcement agencies across the nation in cracking down on family violence.  Sergeant Jay Wood says an arrest team spent Wednesday focusing on persons wanted for domestic and non-support related offenses as part of the National Family Violence Apprehension Detail.  Sheriff's deputies cleared nine active arrest warrants and attempted 60 more.  Wood says seven subjects ended up in the county jail awaiting a court appearance.   Wood says the sheriff's office participates to help raise awareness of the problem of family and domestic violence in our communities.  He says it also demonstrates to offenders they will be held accountable.
