The Janesville Salvation Army is ready for its annual Coats for Kids distribution.  Co-chair Lindi Paull says donations this year started out extremely slow, but picked up in the last few days.  Paull says the community's generosity is overwhelming.  Most surprising perhaps is the amount of cash.  Paull says they never solicit, or expect cash, but the total this year could approach $8000.  Paull says 5000 different pieces of winter apparel are ready for Saturday's distribution.  She says it'll be on a first-come first-serve basis from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army on Sutherland Avenue in Janesville.
