The Beloit Plan Commission takes a second look at a proposed multi family residential development at the Kolak Education Center.

Back in October the Plan Commission recommended denial of the project which included 40 units – 33 in the original building, and seven in a secondary townhouse building which would be constructed on the property.

Then, before bringing the plans before the City Council, Commonwealth Development reduced both the size and scope of the project by eliminating the town house building.

In November after holding a public hearing the City Council voted to send the new 33 unit proposal back to the Plan Commission for consideration.

The Plan Commission will take up the proposal at their meeting at 7:00 Wednesday night.
