Janesville police say a masked gunman walked into a home in the 200 block of South Jackson Tuesday night and asked for the safe, money and weed. The robber ended up shooting the family dog before fleeing. He’s described as white, 20-to-30 year-old, 5-7 to 7-8 with a slender build. He was wearing a black maske, black form fitting jacket, dark sweat pants, and black gloves. Police urge anyone with any information to contact them.
