A 5-year-old boy is shot dead in an incident Friday night in Beloit
Beloit Police say the shooting happened around 7:15 p.m. near the intersection of Prairie Avenue and Shopiere Road while the boy was in a vehicle with his father.
Shots came from another vehicle. The boy was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Police are looking for a 1990s to early 2000s maroon-colored SUV that was seen at the scene of the shooting.
