A two-vehicle accident claims the life of one person in Beloit.
The Rock County 911 Communications Center says that emergency personnel responded to an accident with injuries just after 8:00 Friday night at the intersection of Hackett Street and West Grand Avenue.
The Beloit Fire Department says as a result of the accident involving a mid-sized car and a mini van, one person was pronounced dead at the scene and five people were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
This accident remains under investigation.
