Two Janesville teens are in custody at the Rock County Juvenile Detention Center on multiple charges following a short vehicle pursuit.  Police say officers were dispatched shortly after 11 o’clock Sunday night to the area of Kellogg and Center Avenues to find a runaway 16-year-old girl, who reportedly had stolen a vehicle.  A short time later officers spotted the stolen vehicle traveling north on Center Avenue, near Joliet Street, without the headlights on.  When they tried to stop the car, the driver fled, and a short pursuit ended when the vehicle crashed into a fence.  The 16-year-old runaway driver, and a 14-year-old boy were taken into custody.  During the incident, police learned the teens were reportedly involved in thefts from motor vehicles on the southwest side of the city.
