With the deadline this Saturday, the Blackhawk Golden K Kiwanis are glad they were able to get their raffle truck out on the ice of the Traxler Park Lagoon in Janesville Wednesday. Spokesman Glen Jablonka says the ice is seven inches thick, and the city approved the launch. He’s also quick to remind everyone they’ll be selling tickets, to guess when the truck will sink, through Saturday. He says tickets can be purchased at Blackhawk Community Credit Union on West Court Street from 9:00 to 5:00 Thursday and Friday, and 9:00 til noon on Saturday. He says they’ll also be selling tickets at Sentry East on Milwaukee from 10:00 til 6:00 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
