A 44-year-old Beloit man is charged in federal court with failure to register as a sex offender.
According to the indictment returned by a grand jury Wednesday Clifford Snipes traveled from Wisconsin to Texas between February and November 0f 2015 and failed to update his registration.
If convicted Snipes faces up to 10 years in federal prison.
