A 31-year-old former Waupaca man is sentenced to 12 years in prison and 15 years of extended supervision for having sex with a Janesville girl on two occasions.
Judge James Daley presided over Justin Jones’ sentencing Wednesday in Rock County Court.
Jones plead guilty in February to using a computer to facilitate a sex crime, two counts of child enticement, and two counts of second degree sexual assault of a child.
He was arrested back in 2014 after the mother of his newborn daughter discovered Facebook messages between Jones and the underage girl, and alerted police.
As part of a plea agreement, five additional charges of second degree sexual assault of a child were dropped.
