New president chosen for Blackhawk Technical College

A Wisconsin native and former engineer takes over the helm at Blackhawk Technical College.  46-year-old Tracy Pierner, originally from Green Bay, will take over as president of BTC this summer.  Pierner comes to BTC from Henry Ford College in Dearborn, Michigan, where he was the vice president of academic affairs.  His resume also includes eleven years engineering experience for Rockwell Automation and Kimberly Clark.  He began his career in technical education at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay.  His starting pay is $170 thousand with some perks.
