With more than half of all new sexually transmitted diseases in the United State among people under 25, one local organization works to address the issue.
Community Action of Rock and Walworth County will hold a free STD testing clinic by appointment Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:20 p.m. at First Choice Beloit Clinic in the Eclipse Center in Beloit.
The Rock County Health Department says the most STD’s are curable and treatable, including HPV which is the most common sexually transmitted disease, and a leading casue of cervical cancer.
