A long time Rock County Judge is stepping down. After more than 20-years serving Branch Six, Judge Richard Werner says he will retire August 5th. Werner says it’s been his distinct honor and privilege to serve the citizens of Rock County, and considers himself fortunate to have worked with such dedicated and capable colleagues. Werner presided over the Drug Court for more than eight years, assisting 243 people in graduating from the program. He was also instrumental in establishing the CASA program in the Juvenile Court, as well as, the Rock County Youth Network. He’s currently the Presiding Judge for the county.
