Starting at 9 p.m. Tuesday May 31st, the WIS 26 southbound ramp to I-39/90 northbound in Janesville will be closed until Tuesday, June 7. Motorists are required to use alternate routes, such as the signed detour route of US 14 to access I-39/90 northbound. The other ramps at the WIS 26 and US 14 interchanges (Exit 171 A-B) will remain open. Access to local businesses will be maintained.
These operations and closures are weather dependent and subject to change.
The WIS 26 ramp to I-39/90 southbound opened to traffic ahead of schedule on Tuesday night, May 24.
Motorists should be alert for crews working in the area and drive with caution through all work zones.
