Janesville police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 34-year-old city man who may have been involved in a machete attack. Police say they’re looking for Marcus A. Kendall. He is described as a white male, 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds, with a bald head and brown eyes. He might be driving a 2001 black four-door Pontiac Grand Prix. Police responded to North Chatham Street and Laurel Avenue about 8:30 Friday night and found a 31-year-old the man bleeding from several lacerations on his arms and hands. He’s expected to survive. The investigation revealed the victim was involved in an argument with the suspect about a theft. Police say the suspect entered the residence in the 200 block of N. Palm St. and retrieved “what was described as a machete.
