A local state representative is at odds with the Governor’s remarks about questioning the need for additional funding of District Attorney’s offices, if investigations continue into some of his past campaign funding practices. Democrat Mark Spreitzer of Beloit says the governor’s position is clearly a conflict of interest. A state Supreme Court ruling, that shut down a John Doe investigation into Walker’s campaign and third party groups, is currently being appealed to the U-S Supreme Court.
