Town of Beloit man sentenced on homicide charge

Rock County Judge Michael Haakenson uses the word tragic repeatedly in sentencing a Town of Beloit man on charges of Second Degree Intentional Homicide. Haakenson remarked on the stabbing death of 19-year-old Brandy Carroll, at the hands of Andrea Robinson, because of an argument over 60-dollars.  The two were arguing over the price of sexual favors in Robinson’s Town of Beloit home a year ago in May.  Haakenson sentenced the 40-year-old Robinson to 30-years in prison.
