Rock County Sheriff’s deputies and Janesville police raid a Janesville residence and find nearly an ounce of heroin as well as cocaine.
The Sheriff’s office says as a result of the search, 33year-old Craig D. Denson was arrested on two counts of delivery of heroin, two counts of party to delivery of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver heroin within 1000 feet of a park, possession with intent to deliver cocaine within 1000 feet of a park, maintaining a drug vehicle and a probation violation.
The raid was the result of two weeks of investigation by the Rock County Special Investigations Unit into heroin and cocaine sales in Janesville.
During the raid Tuesday at the residence on the 2000 block of Hubbard Street, officers reported finding 26.9 grams of heroin and 4.9 grams of crack cocaine.
Also seized were about $3,000 cash and a loaded .380-caliber handgun.
