Beloit man arrested on drug charges

A Beloit man is under arrest on multiple drug charges after an investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says multiple law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at a residence on the 600 block of Wisconsin Avenue as part of the Special Investigation Unit’s investigation into the sale of narcotics.

Jazjuan Steel was not present at the time of the search, but was arrested at about 4:00 Thursday afternoon.

Two other people, Monique Banks and Dartanyon V. Collins, were arrested on unrelated warrants during the search.

Steele faces tentative charges of possession of cocaine, five counts of delivering heroin, possession of THC and disorderly conduct while armed. He was also arrested on 12 counts of felony bail jumping and 12 counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
