The Blackhawk Golden K’s hope to have their Truck on Ice contest going by this time next month. Golden K’s spokesman Glen Disrude says club members have been watching the thickness of the ice on Traxler Park Lagoon closely. Disrude says he’s fielding questions since the recent cold snap, but says they’re still waiting for permission from the city. Tickets are already on sale with a deadline of February 11th for placement of the truck.
