A Beloit man picks a winning lottery ticket worth 100 grand. State lottery officials say Robert Champion won the prize by playing the Diamond Double Doubler scratch game. Champion purchased his ticket at Woodman’s on South Madison Road in Beloit. This was the second, and last, $100,000 top prize remaining in the Diamond Double Doubler scratch game. Woodman’s gets $2000 for its trouble.
