The Rock County Town of Union benefits from a State Trust Fund Loan from the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands.

The $52,000 loan will be used to refinance a fire department building construction loan.

The Board of Commissioners of Public Lands operates entirely on program revenue, without taxpayer money and distributes more than 96 cents of every dollar of interest earned on State Trust Fund investments to Wisconsin’s public schools.
