Spring like weather is prompting some area golf courses to open this weekend. Among them, Glen Erin south of Janesville, where Assistant Golf Pro John Okray says enthusiasm is high. He says phone calls have been coming in from Chicago to northern Wisconsin. Okray says in the ten years he’s been at Glen Erin, he’s never seen it open in February. The city of Janesville is also opening Riverside Golf Course, but carts will not be allowed.
