After months of renovations, the newly expanded Milton Public Library is ready to take in patrons again. The Library hosted a “soft” opening Sunday to show off a number of improvements. Library Director Lisa Brooks says the design is something you don’t usually see in a library. There’s bold colors, curved glass walls and beautiful lighting. A highlight of the newly redesigned facility is a children’s level complete with activity areas. Work is still being done to complete some presentation spaces in the library. Once that’s done, an official grand opening is planned for March 26.
