A local veteran’s group is putting together a fundraiser designed to better appreciate the plight of ex-prisoners of war. Janesville Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter Associate Member Jon Jennings is organizing a 20-mile walk to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Bataan Death March. Jennings says the April 9th event, traveling from Palmer Park in Janesville to Jones Dairy Park in Fort Atkinson, is patterned after an event in Albuquerque, New Mexico which attracts thousands of participants every year.
