The Rock County SWAT team uses gas to get an armed subject to come out of a rural Milton home after an almost six-hour stand-off west of Milton Thursday morning. Sheriff Robert Spoden says deputies initially responded at 6:45 a.m. to a report of shots being fired during a domestic disturbance at a home in the 2300 block of County Highway M.  Spoden says after lengthy attempts at negotiations, 22-year-old Rache T. Boyd surrendered, and told deputies, 27-year-old Eric B. Fenne was armed, and told her he did not intend to surrender.  Spoden says gas was dispersed in the basement and Fenne surrendered without further incident.  Spoden says the pair are believed to have been involved in an armed robbery earlier in the morning at the Stop N Go in Janesville.
