Janesville Police are investigating the second stabbing in the City in less than a week.

A news release indicates that Janesville Police were dispatched to the report of a stabbing at a residence on the 600 block of Tudor Drive just before 12:30 Thursday afternoon.

Officers found 19-year-old Dalton J. Rademacher suffering a stab wound to the abdomen.

Rademacher told police that 22-year-old Justin G. Pennycook of Janesville stabbed him and left in a vehicle before officers arrived.

Officers located Pennycook’s vehicle in the area of South Randall Avenue and Tyler Street and took him into custody.

The knife officers believe Pennycook used to stab Rademacher was found in the Spring Brook Creek near the intersection of Ruger Avenue and Greendale Drive.

Rademacher was taken to a local hospital where he was in stable condition.

Police say the stabbing was the result of a separate domestic incident between Rademacher and a female that Pennycook shares a child with.
