The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of 27-year-old Nakiela Thompson of Milwaukee, who’s body was found at the Road Ranger truck stop in South Beloit on November 1st. Captain Todd Christiansen says Winnebago County authorities developed a lead in the case Thursday while interviewing 50-year-old Marco A. Rodriguez at the Beloit Police Department. Christiansen says Rodriguez told detectives he did not kill Thompson, but he did move her body from a location in the Town of Beloit. Christiansen says Rodriguez was arrested on a charge of Hiding a Corpse while the investigation proceeds.
