With all the talk about school safety following this week’s deadly shooting in Florida, Janesville District Spokesman Patrick Gasper reassures parents staff works closely with local law enforcement to be prepared. He says an important part of the training is based on the FBI model “Run-Hide-Fight”. Gasper says students also regularly drill in both soft and hard lock-downs, with specific information regarding gun violence.
