An $1,800 grant from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is making it possible for the Eager Free Public Library in Evansville to make science kits available for checkout.

Assistant Director Alison O’Brien says the kits should be available for checkout around the same time as the grand opening for the new addition at the beginning of 2019.

The collection will cover a wide range of science topics, such as technology and coding, biology and nature, physics, and engineering.
