A 67-year-old man is dead following a two-vehicle accident in Green County.
The Green County Sheriff's Office says deputies were dispatched to the crash on State Highway 81, west of County Highway M just before 6:00 Tuesday morning along with Monroe Police and Fire, Green County EMS, and Medflight.
Investigation determined that a 67-year-old nab was traveling westbound in his van, when he crossed the centerline and collided with an eastbound two-axle straight truck.
The driver of the van died at the scene, and the truck driver was uninjured.
Highway 81 was closed for more than five hours while emergency workers cleared the scene.
