An 83-year-old Village of Bloomfield man is dead following a two-vehicle accident on Thanksgiving.
The Walworth County Sheriff's Office says deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway F at Mound Road in Delavan Township shortly before 11:00 Thursday morning.
Initial investigation shows that Richard Lewandowski pulled out from a stop sign and into the path of a vehicle that had the right of way on northbound County F.
Lewandowski was pronounce dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 26-year-old Elkhorn man suffered minor injuries.
The Walworth County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by police from Delavan Township and the City of Delavan, as well as Delavan Township Fire and Rescue Units.
