DNA evidence leads to the issuance of a warrant for a Beloit man in connection with a burglary from 2008.
Six years ago, Beloit Police responded to a local restaurant on the report of a burglary. A suspect had broken in through a drive through window, opened some gas valves for the appliances, and stole money from the cash register.
Recently the state crime lab linked a blood sample taken from the crime scene to a suspect.
The Rock County District Attorney's Office has issued a warrant for 33-year-old Luis Sanchez of Beloit's arrest for burglary, recklessly endangering safety, and theft.
