Beloit Crime Stoppers Gets $1,200 Donation

The Beloit Crimestoppers are $1,200 richer thanks to an an asset forfeiture resulting from drug arrests by the Wisconsin State Patrol.

In 2012 a State Trooper stopped a vehicle speeding on I-39 northbound near Beloit and seized a large amount of marijuana, cocaine, and cash.

The three occupants of the vehicle were convicted of multiple drug violations, and the court ordered that part of the cash that was seized should go to a non-profit agency that assists law enforcement.

The Wisconsin State Patrol presented the Beloit Police Department and it's Crimestoppers program with a check last Thursday.
