The Beloit Police Department educates residents about sex offenders.
The Beloit Police Department is holding a public meeting on March 13th about the sex offender release process in response to two new sex offenders who are moving to Beloit.
52-year-old Clayton Smith was convicted of sexual assault of child in 1992, and has been living at a residence for sex offenders in Hanover. 58-year-old Mark Taber was convicted of sexual assault of a child in 1991 and currently resides at the Sand Ridge Treatment Center in Mauston.. Both men will be living at a residence on the 2200 block of Euclid Avenue in Beloit.
The public information meeting will be held on March 13th at 7:00 pm at Beloit City Hall.
