The City of Janesville is wasting no time in preparing for General Motors to make a decision about the disposition of its closed manufacturing plant. City Information Management Specialist Maggie Hrdlicka says ordinances being proposed address both salvage of materials and demolition. The United Auto Workers tentative agreement with General Motors now considers the Janesville manufacturing plant closed and no longer protected from sale.
