An electrical problem is being blamed for an early evening fire in Janesville. Firefighters responded to a home in the 28-hundred block of Anthony Avenue just before 7:00 o'clock Thursday night. Smoke and flames could be scene when they arrived. Officials say the fire originated in an exterior wall shared by the kitchen and patio. The origin appears to be an electrical outlet. Damage is listed at $30 thousand to the structure, and $8 thousand to the contents. The resident plans to live with relatives until the home can be repaired.
