The Janesville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is inviting residents to drop off new or gently used coats, sweaters, hats, mittens and other warm clothing items as part of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s “The Big Bundle Up” campaign. The Big Bundle Up is a statewide collection program running Nov. 30, 2015 – Jan. 3, 2016.

This is the fifth year of the Big Bundle Up. To date, the program has collected more than 49,300 winter items to help families in need. In addition to the JACVB other collection sites, including Travel Wisconsin Welcome Centers, are located throughout the state. Visit TravelWisconsin.com for a full listing of donation sites.

With the spirit of the holiday season upon us, donating winter items is the perfect way to give to families in need across the state. A box will be located in JACVB business office for donors to drop off warm clothing items.

“All items donated at this location will be given to ECHO of Janesville,” said JACVB Christine Rebout, Executive Director. We love that items donated as part of this program stay local to help those in need within our community,” For more information about why JACVB is participating in the Big Bundle Up, please contact Christine Rebout, JACVB Executive Director.
