Janesville Business Robbed at Knife Point

A Janesville business is robbed at knife point.

According to a news release, Janesville Police responded to a robbery in progress at the Stop-n-Go store located on the 1600 block of East Racine Street just after 11:30 last night.

Reportedly the suspect entered the store, presented a knife, and demanded that the clerk give him money.  After receiving some cash, the suspect, who's described as a six foot tall, slender, black male fled on foot in a westerly direction.

Officers secured the scene, and the surrounding area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

This incident remains under investigation by the Janesville Police Department detective Bureau.
