A young Janesville City Council member seeks support outside the community. City Council Member Sam Liebert may sometimes feel set apart from his fellow council members. Not necessarily because of a stance on the issues, but his age. Yet to turn 30, Liebert tells "Your Talk Show" on WCLO he belongs to the Young Elected Officials Network. The group has seven-hundred members, and not all are from local government like Liebert. He says some are freshman representatives in congress. Liebert says he's learning a lot from the other young politicians including the value of networking and how they deal with policy issues for their constituents. Liebert recently returned from the group's national conference.
