Dollar General has closed on a land deal that will pave the way for the company to build a 1-million-square-foot warehouse on Janesville's south side.  The closing will transfer 124 acres of city owned land off County G and Highway 11 to Dollar General, including a future right of way for County G.   It will allow allow Dollar General to break ground on a warehouse the discount retailer says will employ more than 550 people and serve as a hub for its Midwestern distribution.  The land transfer is part of a city tax increment financing deal sealed in September that's worth $11.5 million.   The project also has received a tax credit award from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.  The warehouse would be on pace to open in late 2016.
