The job market in Rock County is showing signs of improvement. Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board business Service Coordinator Gail Graham says companies signing up for next month's job fair need employees in areas ranging from health care to general labor. Graham says the variety of skilled and semi-skilled workers also appears to be on the rise. She says the current situation is much improved from four years ago when it would have been nearly impossible to get enough businesses together for any kind of a job fair. Graham says 35 businesses are already signed up she's looking for more. In April 70-employers entertained more than 14-hundred potential employees. The next job fair is being planned for October 16th at the Pontiac convention Center in Janesville.
