The public-private economic development initiative known as Rock County 5.0 is launching a new web-based career preparation platform. Rock County Economic Development Manager James Otterstien says the "Inspire" project is powered by a product called "Career Cruising" and offers much more information than a simple job search. Otterstein says "Inspire" integrates career development tools, social media, and workforce information into a seamless system. Inspire reflects a joint effort of more than 50-companies, 200 educators, and dozens of volunteers to help job seekers explore potential careers and training options. The site is open to the public at www.inspirerockcounty.org.
