Low voter turnout predicted for spring primary

vote-2

Rock County Clerk, Lisa Tollefson, is predicting 6-8% of the approximately 121,000 eligible voters will turnout for the February 20th Spring Primary in Rock County.

All voters will see the Justice of the Supreme Court on their ballots. Some voters will see an additional race that may include: County Supervisor – District 26, Milton School Board Member, or Beloit School Board Member. Only races that need to narrow down the number of candidates for the April 3, 2018 Spring Election appear on next week’s ballots.

Voters are encouraged to review their sample ballot at MyVote.wi.gov and verify their voter registration. If a voter is not registered, they can register at the polls with proof of residence. Photo ID is also required for everyone voting on Election Day. The polls are open 7:00 a.m. –8:00 p.m.
