Man Accused of Jail Escape Plot Needs New Lawyer
A Rock County man accused of dismembering a burning a corpse in his fire pit, and then plotting an escape from the Rock County Jail is going to need a new lawyer.
29-year-old Nathan Middleton's attorney resigned from his case after unknowingly becoming a part of his escape plot.
Last week, Middleton was arrested after Sheriff's Deputies discovered he was plotting an escape from Jail.
According to a criminal complaint, the letter Middleton's attorney delivered asked Middleton's mother to search online for information on how to make a bomb, and then blow up the side of the Rock County Jail.
Middleton is in jail waiting to answer to charges that he dismembered the body of 18-year-old Aprina Paul of Fitchburg, and then burned her body in the fire pit at his rural Evansville home.
