A search for illegal drugs at Milton High School turns up nothing. Milton police say they conducted a drug dog search of both the high and middle schools Friday morning. The routine search included school parking lots, hallways, lockers, and classrooms. No drugs or paraphernalia were recovered. Drug dogs were provided by the Janesville Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, and the Wisconsin State Patrol. Milton Police chief Daniel Layber says this is an ongoing effort to keep schools safe.
