Snow plow drivers are often taken for granted according to Janesville Operations Director John Whitcomb. Governor Scott Walker has declared Monday Snowplow Driver Appreciation Day in Wisconsin and Whitcomb says his crews are forced to work long hours in extremely difficult conditions. He says they do an outstanding job in supporting commerce and improving safety by keeping the roads clear in adverse weather. He says the best way motorists can show their appreciation for snowplow drivers is by giving them plenty of room to work during storms.
