No chance of early release for Janesville man

A 55-year-old Janesville man will be spending the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of early release.  Rock County Judge Richard Werner set any question about Krystofer Carlisle's future when he made the decision Thursday morning.  Carlisle had pleaded guilty to charges related to the strangulation death of his estranged wife, 46-year-old Traci Moyer last December.  In court Thursday, Carlisle offered a somber apology to his wife's family, and told them how much he loved the victim.  Judge Werner said he had trouble believing Carlisle's statements about acting in self defense, considering the manner in which Moyer was strangled.
